Crafting Heartfelt Children’s Stories

A mother-daughter duo with a lifelong love for children’s books, we set out to create stories that help kids understand how their world—inside and out—shapes them. Our first book is a heartwarming guide to how feelings and experiences influence us, told in a way little ones can truly connect with.

Inspiring Understanding with Two Wrens Press

Founded in Spring 2025, we took the inspiration for our name from a favorite little bird that flits around our yard, singing its heart out. At Two Wrens Press, we create beautiful, accessible books designed to inspire and help children, parents, and caregivers deepen their understanding of themselves and the world around them.

BOOKS IN THE WORKS:

Beautifully illustrated with metaphors children will easily understand, our first book talks about our energy bubble.

Diane

has always been passionate about stories, beginning with Mary Ann’s Mud Day and Little House in the Big Woods and growing into a lifelong love of books. With an BA in English from CU Boulder and a MA in Education from Stanford, she began by teaching middle and high school. Now, as a death doula and host of the Best Life Best Death podcast, she recommends books on a daily basis and explores meaningful conversations about life’s most profound transitions. Though she has too many favorite children’s books to name them, the most recent one she added to her collection is The End of Something Wonderful: A Practical Guide to a Backyard Funeral

Anna

has always been drawn to the magic of storytelling and has a deep love for writing and children’s books. She is currently studying Elementary Education at the University of Michigan, where she is preparing to inspire and support young learners. Passionate about the power of books to shape understanding and connection, she especially loves stories that speak to both children and adults—like her current favorite, The Heart and the Bottle, and her all-time favorite, The Quiltmaker’s Gift.

“There are many little ways to enlarge your world. Love of books is the best of all.”
